The Electric Vehicle Charging Accessibility Network (EVCAN) is an independent nonprofit that convenes energy innovation leaders and electric vehicle (EV) experts to tackle the most pressing challenges with EV charging installation and operation. Our mission is to accelerate the adoption of reliable and connected electric vehicle charging across North America through collaboration with industry experts and stakeholder advocates to develop and provide access to impartial product information and resources. We hope you’ll join us on this journey to make EV charging easy and accessible for all.
Electrification of the transportation sector is a critical part of North America’s decarbonization journey. EVs are reaching 10% of new car sales, driven by billions of dollars in incentives, policy, and ambitious corporate decarbonization goals. However, reliable fueling infrastructure struggles to keep up with the market demand, creating ‘charging anxiety’ among the next wave of potential EV buyers.

Scaling charging infrastructure to meet diverse needs takes partnership
Our stakeholder community is a coalition who provides insight and expertise into EVCAN’s program development. As an active EVCAN committee member, you directly support building consistent equipment, performance expectations, and implementation practices. Together, we’re ensuring that EV charging solutions provide flexibility for operations in diverse locations and route needs, all while proving that EVs CAN work for any driver.

Benefits of Joining EVCAN
